Freshman soccer player Furtuna Velaj scored five of Quinnipiac’s six goals yesterday afternoon in their 6-0 victory over the New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders.

Quinnipiac University’s women’s soccer team defeated St. Bonaventure 2-1 at home yesterday afternoon in their season opener.
Freshman Furtuna Velaj scored her first two collegiate goals in the victory.
