According to QuinnipiacBobcats.com, the men’s ice hockey team was picked to finish fifth in the ECAC by the league’s media and sixth by the league’s coaches.
Quinnipiac received 72 points in the coaches poll, trailing Princeton (118 points, 9 first-place votes) in first place, Harvard (103, 2) in second place, Cornell (100, 1) in third place, [...]

Jordan Elkins, a freshman on Quinnipiac’s women’s hockey team, grew up in Wasilla, AK.
Coincidentally enough, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was once mayor of the same town. Elkins also played on the same hockey team as Palin’s son Track.
Via the official athletics website comes a television interview Elkins gave regarding her ties to Palin.
