Men’s soccer loses to St. Francis (N.Y.)

The Quinnipaic men’s soccer team lost to St. Francis (N.Y.) 2-1 this afternoon, evening their NEC record at 1-1.
Graciano Brito scored his 11th goal of the season in the 52nd minute to give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.  However, St. Francis’ Jeverton Delorenzi scored four minutes later to tie the game at one goal apiece.  [...]

Blades & Shaves raises more than $27,000

A head-shaving fundraiser spearheaded by men’s ice hockey coach Rand Pecknold raised more than $27,000 on Oct. 4, according to QuinnipiacBobcats.com. All proceeds from the event benefited the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a medical research facility set up to fight children’s cancer.
